Health Care Program
Program Objectives
- Improve availability of and access to health care services for persons with Sickle cells with much focus on children, through, home care and treatment, mobile clinics (screening and testing), medical treatment referrals as well as the promotion of health-seeking behavior.
- Improve health information management system to ensure availability of reliable data on the health status of the population, including on Sickle Cells.
- Ensure availability of health education material on treatment and management of Sickle cells disease.
